Lewis Hamilton “planning for the next five years” in F1
Lewis Hamilton has declared he is planning to remain in Formula 1 for at least the next five years, which would see him racing past the age of 45 and into the 2030s. The seven-time world champion made the bold statement ahead of the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix, having endured a difficult debut season at Ferrari in 2025. His 2026 campaign has shown improvement, including a podium finish at the Chinese Grand Prix in March, putting him closer to teammate Charles Leclerc's pace.
