Lewis Hamilton quashes F1 form theory from ground-effect era

Lewis Hamilton has dismissed theories that he failed to adapt to F1's ground-effect era regulations, pointing to his resurgent form 11 rounds into the 2026 season with Ferrari's SF-26. After three difficult seasons at Mercedes (2022-2024) and a winless 2025 campaign with Ferrari that saw him fail to reach a single Grand Prix podium, Hamilton credits the 2026 'Nimble Car' concept for his revival, saying it allows him to drive similarly to the pre-ground-effect generation. The seven-time World Champion argued his driving style has remained consistent, rejecting suggestions that he had been unable to adapt technically.
