Lewis Hamilton receives major F1 title boost from Ferrari chief who refuses to give up

Ferrari F1 team principal Fred Vasseur has confirmed that the team will continue developing their 2026 car despite falling out of both the drivers' and constructors' championship races, having failed to score a podium in the last four grands prix. Vasseur revealed that approximately 80 per cent of the development work done on the current car will carry over to their 2027 package, thanks to the similarity in regulations between the two seasons. This is seen as a significant boost for new signing Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc as Ferrari looks to build toward a future title challenge.
