Lewis Hamilton snaps 56-year F1 record with historic Barcelona win

Lewis Hamilton, aged 41 years, 5 months, and 7 days, won the Spanish Grand Prix at Barcelona-Catalunya for Ferrari, becoming the oldest driver to win a Formula 1 race in 56 years, since Jack Brabham's victory at the 1970 South African GP. It was Hamilton's 106th career win and his first for Ferrari, ending a 686-day drought since his last victory at the 2024 Belgian GP with Mercedes. The win was also Ferrari's 249th grand prix victory, making Hamilton the 41st different driver to win a world championship race for the iconic Italian team.
