Lewis Hamilton warned, Ferrari fined for Bahrain GP impeding

Lewis Hamilton was issued a formal warning by FIA stewards after impeding Audi's Gabriel Bortoleto during second free practice at the 2026 Bahrain Grand Prix, held at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia. The incident occurred at Turn 9, where Hamilton's damaged right-hand mirror left him unaware of Bortoleto approaching at over 150km/h, forcing the Brazilian driver to swerve. Ferrari escaped a harsher penalty for Hamilton but were fined €10,000 by stewards for failing to radio a warning to their driver.
