Lewis Hamilton win sends Ferrari share price soaring
Lewis Hamilton claimed his first Formula 1 victory for Ferrari at the Barcelona Grand Prix on Sunday, finishing ahead of George Russell and Lando Norris, while championship leader Kimi Antonelli retired late due to an electrical issue. The win had a significant financial impact, with Ferrari's Milan-listed shares rising from €306.85 to €319.35 — a gain of approximately 4.1 per cent — in the first trading session following the race. Based on Ferrari's 176.982 million shares outstanding, the increase equated to a rise of around €2.2 billion in the company's total market value.
