Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari surge may force Mercedes into team orders
Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has hinted the team may reconsider its policy of allowing George Russell and Kimi Antonelli to race each other freely, following Lewis Hamilton's resurgence with Ferrari. Hamilton has closed to within 41 points of championship leader Antonelli after Mercedes' winning streak of six consecutive races was ended. Both Russell and Antonelli have suffered retirements in Canada and Barcelona respectively, leaving Hamilton ninth ahead of Russell in the standings.
