Leyland Cricket Club Women retain national T20 title

Leyland Cricket Club Women have retained the ECB National T20 Plate title, defeating Kent club Hayes by 41 runs in the final held just outside London, making them national T20 champions for the second successive year. Olivia Cunliffe scored a century in the final, repeating her feat from the previous year's winning campaign. The team had secured their place in the final with a dramatic semi-final win over Copdock & Old Ipswichians, chasing down 153 off the last ball with Summer Carrington finishing 59 not out.
