Liam Williams: Welsh boxer announces next fight after concussion U-turn

Welsh boxer Liam Williams, 34, will return to the ring on 31 July in Lagos, Nigeria, against Ghana's Elvis Ahorgah, who holds a 15-19 professional record. Williams had retired in October 2024 due to concussions but announced his comeback approximately 12 months later, reversing his decision. A former British, European, and Commonwealth champion, Williams made his professional debut in 2011 and has previously challenged for a world title.
