Lionel Messi & Inter Miami bring momentum to Atlanta United

Lionel Messi and Inter Miami CF, who have already secured a spot in the 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs, travel to face Atlanta United in Matchday 31. Atlanta are in poor playoff form, sitting six points below the Eastern Conference Wild Card cutoff with five games remaining, despite a 3-0 win over CF Montréal on Wednesday featuring goals from Miguel Almirón, Giuliano Galoppo, and Breel Embolo. Head coach Tata Martino's side will look to replicate their 2-2 draw against Miami from last month, as a victory could keep their postseason hopes alive.
