Lionel Messi, 39, has been removed from the 2026 MLS All-Star Game roster, marking the third consecutive season he has been named to the roster but will not appear in the game. Inter Miami teammate Rodrigo De Paul was also removed from the roster. Both players had been representing Argentina in the lead-up to the 2026 World Cup final the previous week.
