Lionel Messi scored his 100th goal for Inter Miami CF with a stunning header and added a late assist as the club defeated LIGA MX side Cruz Azul 2-0 on Wednesday night to claim the 2026 Michelob ULTRA Campeones Cup. The victory, achieved at Inter Miami's new 26,700-seat Nu Stadium in downtown Miami, marks the club's fourth trophy of the Messi era. It was also the first piece of silverware won at the state-of-the-art downtown venue.
