Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs, Falcons' Bijan Robinson remain sidelined at training camp as contract talks continue

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs and Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson are both sitting out training camp practices as contract negotiations continue in what appears to be a coordinated 'hold-in.' Robinson led the NFL with 2,298 yards from scrimmage last season, earning AP All-Pro honors, while Gibbs recorded 1,228 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns and is one of only four players in league history to surpass 4,500 yards from scrimmage with 45-plus touchdowns in their first three seasons. Both head coaches — Dan Campbell and first-year Falcons coach Kevin Stefanski — have stated they are focused on coaching the players currently participating in camp.
