Littler bid to win missing event ends in shock loss

Luke Littler, 19, was eliminated from the European Championship in Dortmund in the quarterfinals, suffering a 10-6 defeat to Krzysztof Ratajski — a player he had never previously lost to. The result ends Littler's bid to become only the second player after Michael van Gerwen to win all major televised darts events, as the European Championship remained the one title missing from his collection. The loss follows recent exits at the World Series of Darts quarterfinals and the first round of the World Grand Prix, marking a dip in form after he had appeared close to a clean sweep of major titles in 2026.
