Littler threatens Dutch boycott after boos, whistles

Luke Littler, the back-to-back world darts champion, has threatened to boycott future European Tour events in the Netherlands after facing persistent booing and whistling from crowds at the World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam. The hostile atmosphere during his Friday win over Danny Noppert escalated on Saturday in his round of 16 victory over Nathan Aspinall, requiring referee Charlie Costorphine to intervene. Littler has previously taken a similar stance against German crowds, refusing to attend European Tour events in Germany, and says he is '100%' prepared to do the same in the Netherlands.
