LIV Golf captains confirm first DP World Tour starts in more than three years

Ian Poulter (age 50) and Lee Westwood (age 51), two European Ryder Cup legends who joined LIV Golf at its launch in June 2022, will return to the DP World Tour in October at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland. The pair had their DPWT memberships revoked after a sports arbitration panel ruled against them in July 2023, following disputes over £100,000 fines they received for playing LIV Golf without obtaining proper releases. This will mark their first appearances on the DP World Tour in more than three years.
