LIV Golf stars enter DP World Tour event that clashes with league's Team Championship

Three LIV Golf players — Tyrrell Hatton, Tom McKibbin, and Adrian Meronk — have entered the British Masters, a $3 million DP World Tour event at The Belfry, scheduled for the same week (August 27-30) as LIV Golf's $40 million Team Championship in Michigan. The LIV season finale, to be held at The Cardinal course at Saint John's Resort, is widely expected to be cancelled, with ticket sales halted and a message on the league's website stating tickets are 'no longer available.' Despite players being informally told the event will not proceed, LIV Golf has yet to make an official cancellation announcement.
