Australian Lucas Herbert claimed his first LIV Golf title with a wire-to-wire victory at LIV Golf Virginia, held at Trump National Golf Club Washington DC, finishing 24-under par and four shots clear of Sergio Garcia. The 30-year-old, who battled illness throughout the week, earned a $4 million winner's cheque and secured qualification for the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills. Bryson DeChambeau finished third at 19-under, while Dustin Johnson's 4Aces team defeated Garcia's Fireballs in a playoff to win the team event.
