LIVE UPDATES: Oilers at Sharks

The Edmonton Oilers visited the San Jose Sharks on Saturday at SAP Center, looking to secure their fourth consecutive win on a three-game road trip. Mattias Ekholm opened the scoring in the first period, converting a blast through a screen set by Trent Frederic that beat goaltender Yaroslav Askarov, assisted by Isaac Howard and Josh Samanski. Ekholm's goal extended his career plus/minus against the Sharks to +49, reportedly the best all-time plus/minus against any Pacific Division club.
