Liverpool fans seek clarity over Bezos-linked bid

Liverpool supporters' group Spirit of Shankly (SoS) has written to the club seeking clarity and a meeting regarding a potential ownership change, after Amazon founder Jeff Bezos was identified as part of a consortium looking to acquire a significant minority stake. The consortium also includes Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin and is headed by Amit Bhatia, who recently stepped down as co-owner of Queens Park Rangers after 18 years. Bezos, whose estimated personal wealth stands at £210 billion, has no prior experience investing in a sports team.
