Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has opened up about suffering from depression following the death of teammate Diogo Jota and, shortly after, the loss of his own father. Konate says the back-to-back bereavements caused him to lose all interest in everything, which coincided with a collapse in his form on the pitch. The Frenchman made these revelations as his contract with Liverpool came to an end.
