Liverpool are reportedly considering hijacking Tottenham Hotspur's move for Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi, whose contract expires at the end of the season. Spurs had already reached an agreement in principle for a free transfer, but that deal is contingent on Tottenham avoiding relegation, as they currently sit just one point above the drop zone. Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes has a prior connection to Senesi, having signed him for Bournemouth from Feyenoord in summer 2022.
