London City sign Ballon d'Or winner Putellas

London City Lionesses have signed two-time Ballon d'Or winner Alexia Putellas on a three-year deal. The signing is considered one of the biggest transfers in women's football history. Putellas, a Spanish midfielder, previously won the Ballon d'Or Féminin in 2021 and 2022.
