London Diamond League 2026: Keely Hodgkinson returns to winning ways on home soil

Olympic 800m champion Keely Hodgkinson, 24, won the women's 800m at the 2026 London Diamond League, defeating Broeders-Bol in what she described as a return to form after a tough couple of weeks. Hodgkinson had set her sights on breaking the women's 800m world record, which has stood for 43 years, but that ambition went unfulfilled. The London Diamond League event also saw fellow Briton Josh Kerr run the fastest mile in history the previous day.
