London Marathon 2026: Jess Warner Judd grateful for 'second chance' after epilepsy diagnosis

British runner Jess Warner Judd, 31, will make her London Marathon debut in 2026, less than two years after suffering a mid-race seizure in Rome that led to an epilepsy diagnosis and left her fearing her running career was over. Warner Judd, who began as an 800m runner before moving to longer distances, described the opportunity as a 'second chance' she did not think she would have.
