London Marathon 2027 ballot is OPEN – and your chances could be doubled

The public ballot for the 2027 London Marathon opened on 24 April 2026 at 09:00 BST and will close on 1 May 2026 at 16:00 BST, with results announced by early July. Organisers are planning a two-day event for 2027, which would significantly improve applicants' chances of securing a place. The 2025 edition of the race made history by receiving over one million ballot applications for the first time.
