London to face Rome, Munich and Nairobi after confirming 2029 World Athletics bid

London has officially submitted its bid to host the 2029 World Athletics Championships, having secured an agreement with West Ham to use their stadium. Rome, Munich, and Nairobi have also submitted applications for the event, making it a four-city race. World Athletics is expected to announce the host city in September.
