Longo Borghini thinks she can win the Tour de France Femmes

Elisa Longo Borghini of UAE Team L'Imad secured a third-place overall finish at the 2026 Tour de France Femmes, recovering from a difficult first five days to deliver a strong final three stages, including a third-place finish in Nice. The Italian rider had a challenging season marked by a month-long absence due to bronchitis in spring, a fourth-place finish and a stage win at the Giro d'Italia Donne, and a disappointing Tour de Suisse. Despite the hardships, Longo Borghini says the podium result has reinvigorated her ambition to compete for the yellow jersey at a future edition of the race.
