Longtime Lakers P.A. announcer Tanter dies

Lawrence Tanter, the longtime public address announcer for the Los Angeles Lakers, has died. Tanter had served as the voice of the Lakers since the 'Showtime' era of the 1980s, a tenure spanning several decades. He had retired in June following a stroke.
