Louis Rees-Zammit scores two tries as Bristol defeat champions Northampton

Bristol defeated reigning champions Northampton 41-24 in the Premiership Rugby, with Louis Rees-Zammit scoring two tries in an impressive performance. The win gives Bristol back-to-back victories to open their season for the first time since 2023. The match was marred by a serious-looking head injury to England centre Benhard Janse van Rensburg, who was stretchered off before half-time, though he was later seen at the Bristol dugout, easing concerns about his condition.
