Luke Browning will return to Formula 1 action with Williams in FP1 at Italian Grand Prix

Luke Browning, the 24-year-old Williams reserve driver, will drive Alex Albon's FW48 during FP1 at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, as confirmed on 26 August 2026. This will be his second practice appearance of the 2026 season and his sixth FP1 outing for Williams overall, also fulfilling the team's second mandatory rookie practice session of the year. Browning previously drove the FW48 in Austria and will use the Monza session to continue his development and gather data for the team.
