European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald has confirmed he will use the same team selection format for the centenary Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in Ireland, consisting of six automatic qualifiers and six captain's picks. This mirrors the approach used for Europe's victorious campaign against the United States at Bethpage Black the previous year. The qualifying process will begin at the Husqvarna British Masters at The Belfry later in August 2026.
