Luke Humphries wins Players Championship 28 after victory over Brendan Dolan as Luke Littler knocked out in semi-finals

Luke Humphries won Players Championship 28 in Leicester, defeating Brendan Dolan 8-6 in the final to claim his third Players Championship title of the season. Dolan had beaten Luke Littler 7-4 in the semi-finals, ending Littler's run in his first two appearances of the 2026 series. Humphries also reclaimed the world No 2 ranking from Gian van Veen during the event.
