The hostile crowd behaviour occurred during his Friday win over Dutch favourite Danny Noppert and escalated on Saturday in his last-16 victory over Nathan Aspinall, requiring referee Charlie Costorphine to intervene. Littler, who is aiming to win all 10 major TV events in a year, stated 'If the Dutch stay like this I'm not going.'
