Noah Lyles won the 100m at the Seiko Golden Grand Prix in Tokyo's National Stadium on May 17, 2026, clocking 9.95 seconds (0.6m/s wind) in the final after opening with 10.05. American 18-year-old Tate Taylor finished second in 10.04, while Great Britain's Jake Odey-Jordan, also 18, took third in 10.09. Meeting records also fell in the 3000m and women's 400m, with global gold medallists Jordan Anthony and Rai Benjamin among the other winners on the night.
