Madeleine McCann’s younger brother Sean to swim for Scotland at Glasgow 2026

Sean McCann, younger brother of Madeleine McCann and a student at Loughborough University, has been selected to represent Scotland in swimming at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. The freestyle specialist is set to compete in longer-distance events at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre, with eligibility through his father Gerry, who was born in Glasgow. McCann hopes a strong performance will boost his chances of selection for Team Great Britain at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
