Former UFC light heavyweight champion Magomed Ankalaev (21-2-1) will face No. 5 ranked Khalil Rountree Jr. (15-7) in the main event of UFC Fight Night at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, on July 25, 2026. Ankalaev is returning to the Octagon for the first time since losing the light heavyweight title to Alex Pereira at UFC 320 in October, which ended a seven-year unbeaten run; he had previously claimed the belt by defeating Pereira at UFC 313.
