Maguire survives missed cuts and controversy to headline Solheim Cup wildcard picks

Leona Maguire has been named one of four wildcard picks for Europe's Solheim Cup team by captain Anna Nordqvist, despite a difficult 2026 season in which she missed the cut in four of five majors and is currently ranked 83rd in the world. She is joined by rookies Julia López Ramirez, Nastasia Nadaud, and Mimi Rhodes to complete the European squad. The team will compete to reclaim the Solheim Cup trophy in the Netherlands next month.
