Mammoth, Avalanche set for 2027 Winter Classic on New Year's Eve

The Utah Mammoth will host the Colorado Avalanche in the 2027 Discover NHL Winter Classic on December 31, 2026, at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman announced the game on April 25, 2026, describing it as a late afternoon/early evening event partially played under the lights.
