Man City star Phil Foden admits he may not have done enough to regain his place in Thomas Tuchel's England squad this week - despite being 'really happy' with his upturn in form

Manchester City's Phil Foden has acknowledged uncertainty about whether his improved recent form will be enough to earn a recall to Thomas Tuchel's England squad, with the squad set to be announced this week. Foden, who has been out of favour with the national team, says he feels he is approaching his best form but is not confident it will secure his place. The midfielder described himself as 'really happy' with his current performances despite the selection doubt.
