Man United selling chunks of Old Trafford pitch

Manchester United is selling pieces of the Old Trafford pitch for £125 ($165) each, with sections preserved in glass cubes after the pitch was completely dug up and stripped back to its foundation in June for the first time in 14 years. The pitch has hosted historic moments including 13 Premier League titles and two Champions League trophies won during Sir Alex Ferguson's era. The sale comes amid a difficult period for the club, which recently suffered a 3-2 home defeat to Brighton in the Carabao Cup after leading 2-0 at half-time, their first home defeat from a half-time lead in 42 years.
