Manchester United report seventh straight annual loss despite record revenue

Manchester United recorded a net loss of £43m for the year ended 30 June 2026, marking their seventh consecutive annual loss despite revenue reaching a record £677.6m. Costs linked to player acquisitions and the January sacking of manager Ruben Amorim contributed to the deficit. Minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe had taken measures including job cuts and ticket price increases in an attempt to restore profitability.
