Marchant recalled as Borthwick faces injury crisis

England rugby head coach Steve Borthwick has recalled Joe Marchant to England's 36-man training squad for the upcoming Nations Championship, with Marchant earning his first call-up since the 2023 World Cup following his return to the Gallagher Premiership with Sale from Stade Francais. Borthwick faces a midfield injury crisis, with Seb Atkinson limited to rehabilitation for a knee injury and Benhard Janse van Rensburg sidelined with concussion since October 3. Will Joseph, the Gloucester centre and younger brother of Jonathan Joseph, has also been included in the squad ahead of the autumn opener against Australia.
