Mariners’ Gabe Speier, Dan Wilson suspended by MLB for altercation with Tigers

MLB suspended Seattle Mariners reliever Gabe Speier for three games following an altercation with the Detroit Tigers, in which he was found to have intentionally thrown at a Tigers batter. Mariners manager Dan Wilson was also suspended by MLB in connection with the same incident. The suspensions were handed down by Major League Baseball as disciplinary action stemming from the on-field altercation between the two clubs.
