Marlins seal series in LA on a double play you'll have to see to believe
The Miami Marlins defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2 on Wednesday, sealing the series with a remarkable game-ending unassisted double play by second baseman Xavier Edwards at first base. The play came in the bottom of the ninth inning with the bases loaded after an intentional walk to Shohei Ohtani, when Freddie Freeman hit a soft ground ball that Edwards turned into an unlikely double play. The Marlins had specifically practiced such unusual infield scenarios during Spring Training under the guidance of infield coach Blake Butler and bench coach Carson Vitale.
