Martinez's 'inexplicable' 83 seconds cost Man Utd and Carrick

Lisandro Martinez received a red card in Manchester United's 2-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, with his dismissal described as 'inexplicable' and lasting just 83 seconds before being sent off. The result proved costly for interim manager Michael Carrick, as United were unable to cope after going down to ten men. Chelsea secured a comfortable victory at home in what was a significant blow to United's campaign.
