Mas closes on first Vuelta after Dunbar reels in Buitrago to win stage 19 summit finish

Irish cyclist Eddie Dunbar won stage 19 of the Vuelta a España, a 210km mountain stage from Vélez-Málaga to Peñas Blancas, overtaking Colombian Santiago Buitrago with just 300 metres to go and finishing 14 seconds clear. The 30-year-old Pinarello Q36.5 rider delivered a last-ditch effort to claim the summit finish victory. Spaniard Enric Mas retained the overall race lead in the red jersey with a 1 minute 37 second cushion, keeping him on course for a first Vuelta title with only one mountain stage and Sunday's finale remaining.
