Mavericks reportedly hire former Raptors exec Masai Ujiri as team president

Masai Ujiri, 55, is reportedly joining the Dallas Mavericks as team president and alternate governor, less than a year after parting ways with the Toronto Raptors in 2025, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. Ujiri previously joined the Raptors in 2013 after working his way up through the Denver Nuggets, eventually winning an NBA championship with Toronto. His hiring was reported on May 4, 2026.
