Mavs' Flagg out for home opener with mild left shoulder sprain

Dallas Mavericks rookie forward Cooper Flagg underwent an MRI on Saturday morning that confirmed a mild left shoulder sprain, ruling him out of the team's home opener. The injury occurred after a hard foul by Indiana Pacers' Aaron Nesmith, which also sparked a scuffle on the court. No further timeline for Flagg's return has been specified beyond missing the home opener.
