Max Verstappen signs new Red Bull deal to 2030

Four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen has signed a contract extension with Red Bull Racing through to 2030, extending his previous deal which ran until 2028. The announcement, made on Thursday, ends months of speculation fuelled by performance-based exit clauses in his previous contract that had linked him to rival teams. Verstappen had also publicly hinted at early retirement due to his dissatisfaction with F1's new electrified hybrid engines, which he criticised as 'anti-racing'.
